Airk drones will fly at Global Robot Expo 2017
The exhibition will take place in Madrid, February 2-4
Next week, AIRK will take part in Global Robot Expo, the most important robotics exhibition in Europe, which will take place at the Casa de Campo’s Pabellón de Cristal, in Madrid, during February 2-4.
Versatile and customizable
“We believe these are the most versatile drones in the world, and the ideal partner for 3D printers. They have more anchorage areas to interact with the drone than the whole rest of it”, points out David Matanzas, CEO of the company, who will also make a speech during the exhibition.
Indeed, the assembly of AIRK® drones is “do it yourself “; drones are also highly customizable, and they are the only ones in the market where 60% of the assembly guidelines (placing of the engines, sense of rotation, arms placing, etc.) are built-in in the chassis itself of the drone, allowing a simpler and more intuitive assembly compared to similar devices.
Besides, AIRK® website makes publicly available the 2D plans of the main anchorage areas (“Community/Inventors/Sources” tab) in order to foster the development of open accessories; and a gallery of 3D accessories, so that everyone can share their inventions with the whole community, as well as downloading other people’s.
Global Robot Expo is the most important exhibition in Europe on robotics, 3D printing and drones. Last year, it expanded over an 8,000 m2 exhibition area, more than 100 brands were represented, 10,000 people visited it, and its estimated ROI was about 33 million euros.
